• Camera footage: Video recordings and live stream data from cameras you connect to the Service

• Payment information: Billing details processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers
• Device and camera metadata: Camera names, stream URLs, and configuration settings you provide

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Store and process your camera footage as instructed by you
• Send service notifications, alerts, and account-related emails
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Diagnose technical issues and improve platform reliability

We do not use your footage for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your footage and data are stored on cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption and access controls. While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Camera footage is retained for the duration of your chosen storage plan (7, 14, 30, or 60 days), after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. If you cancel your account, your footage is retained for 30 days before deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers: Cloud infrastructure, payment processors, and email delivery services — only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service
• Legal authorities: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CamBackup or others

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of your data directly from your account dashboard. To exercise additional rights or submit a data request, please contact us.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the Service.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
